Your establishment was listed by the US
Embassy as a source for legal assistance in such matters as marital
cases. I am currently married to a female Vietnamese National and
wish to terminate the marriage. The grounds for such are listed
below with a synopsis of each.
1) Infidelity
– evident but I am currently sourcing a private investigative firm to
confirm.
2) Gambling
– difficult to provide physical evidence of actual betting but there is no
question a significant amount of time / money is dedicated daily to the
“numbers game”.
3) Misappropriation
of Funds – funds from the sale of joint property redirected to an alternate
unknown bank. It is apparent from the “bookkeeping” that regularly
takes place that there is some creative re-allocation of funds not only to her
account but to others who have entrusted her with their
funds. Possibly linked to item number 2.
4) Fraud
– I have definitive documentation attesting to duplicate identities being used.
Your assistance would be sincerely
appreciated as to some of the options that I would have
available. Please provide your fee schedule and if possible some
rough estimates of time and money to resolve this dilemma.
Perhaps you can provide an answer to a
question. How does the US Embassy treat fraud cases where the non-US
citizen is committing the fraud? Can the US Embassy be used as a
channel to the Viet Nam authorities for
prosecution?
